That looks really sharp. Carbon weave's definately the new cool. But, I wish there was a place that could remake all the plastic parts in my interior out of aluminum.

It would just defeats the purpose of carbon fiber. Wrapping the OE parts with CF will just add weight instead of lightness.

looks good to me.
I'll clean my air filter to add +2hp to make up for the extra weight of the carbon wrap on my trim pieces - problem solved.

I don't care about the wieght, I want to replace my plastic with Brushed Aluminum and then cover the A-Pillars and roof with leather to match the dash and doors.

I can not stand the corners Honda cut when producing the NSX. Cheap stereo, console trim, a-pillars, etc. all in a $90,000 car with 290hp. At least the seats are of excellent quality. I guess they had to make a profit somewhere, but why have an Integra's interior?
On the plus side lots of plastic does save weight.

Want to reduce weight? Do like we did in the late 60's, pull the interior out and put a hole saw to anything and everything you see. Small braces got drilled with a 3/8. Put the interior back in and no one is wiser. Of course when you'd hit 2nd gear the car would let you know it.

That's why you knew it when you hit 2nd. Car twisted, ashtrays would fly out, glove box doors would hit the passenger in the knees, etc. I have a screw a screw in the center of my Torino's dash to hold in in on a shift.

"life expectancy before major structural damage", according to he insurance institute, was 6 months anyway. Street racing is street racing and winning is all that counts. I made my car payments street racing and still had money to fix what I broke and upgrade. Better than working in the summer

That is the most wise and enlightened statement I have ever heard.
