That looked and sounded proper alright!

Bill, any ideas of the HP you're getting out of that paxton? I've never seen anything like that on a 308 before.

Thanks Andrew and all. The blower is a Powerdyne unit, not Paxton, but they are similar. My camera takes forever to power up, thus I was almost past when the clip starts so you get the shut down. Oh well, we'll get better stuff this spring I'm sure.
It is different, most of the other blown 308's out there (turbo or SC) are injected cars as it's easy to just puff up the throttle body, so this one gets some attention. My favorite part is the stop light whine, it is subtle but noticable. I don't know the HP, but hope to soon as I need to spend some dyno time to verify my AF ratios and tune for safe power. I think I'm jetted rich now by reading plugs, but I need to dial that in. Don't be too hopeful though, it's still just a little 3 liter. But at 8 grand it is quite an experience. That video barely hits 4k.

PM me if you want more information.

Thanks, I saw their grand opening ad in Auto-RV. Not wanting to be their guinea pig, do you know if they are already up and running, have proper AF sensors, etc...?

I understand the concern. Went to some yahoos on the eastside just after redoing my brakes. They pinched the parking brake cable and toasted my rear brakes. Still charged me for the run and I had to flip the bill for a new caliper, rotors, pads and fluid. I had sent these guys an email a short while back, but no response. I really need to some dyno time for some tuning and need to find out exactly where I'm currently sitting, but once bitten...

Bill, your 308 is looking and sounding great!

The "flames" are just lowly brake lights. Sorry to disapoint, but I'll still take your stars!

Dan's gonna be net-free probably for another week while they get him hooked back up on high-speed at his new place.

I thought maybe the maturity level of this place would go up for a brief while... I'm glad to see that I have been proven wrong!

Well, that was 15 whole posts before hicacking! Thanks to the dissapearance of Dan, it's a new record!

As for flames out the exhaust, is that because of a lack of Catalytic conv? Also, do you have to worry about melting trim? I'm planning a headers/test pipes/exhaust of the NSX soon and would hate to melt anything with flames, myself.

I'm serious. Do exhaust flames damage the back of the car any?

Bill's looked like a pretty quick pop, but my racebike would hold a steady flame sometimes when I got off the throttle...

Dan mentioned something about Diablo's cooking their bumpers from flames out the exhaust. I'd really hate to do the same, but I also really don't want Cat/Conv's either...

Jason, any issues after this weekend's Fire-breathing might asian pornstar mouse?

I think the reason Dan is so concerned(sp? yeah yeah, i dont know how to spell some words) is because of the angle/length of the pipes.

My concern is the fact that the NSX exhaust exits under the rear plastic bumper. I'm planning on getting a GT-one V5.1 exhaust and headers installed some time and they are pretty tucked in there as well.

I guess the big question remains... why does Bill's car flame like that? Is it the lack of Cats/Conv.? My ol' fiero race car would flame pretty big out the back, but it was just straight pipes from the turbos... That and fiero's have a tendency to emit flames...
