Ok so i think im going to tackle these small projects this weekend. Might not get it all done. First time wrenching on this car so everything is new.

I just installed HIDs last weekend on my car. My biggest tip: if you have to drill holes in the weather caps use a drill bit made for plastic. DO NOT USE WOOD bits or the caps will jump all over the place and cut your left thumb wide open.

If i dig in and dont get it finished i will take you up on your offer. Thanks
Unfortunately since im driving early sunday morning i dont think im going to get to the white calipers. I also bought spray paint for the calipers But after looking at them. Unless i want to remove the caliper it doesnt look like i will be able to spray paint.
Jason do you know if i can partially remove the calipers while leaving the brake lines connected? I hate bleeding brakes.

If you're just taking to pads off so they won't get painted, it's ok. If you're going to take the whole calipers, bleed it! Anyway, bleeding is not a bad idea. I do itbefore and after track events.

I never have good luck bleeding. It either takes me hours. Or i get a soft peddal somehow.

we can bleed your brakes tomorrow before the run. It won't take more than 15 mins.

No need to bleed! You all are like some 1800s blood letters up there in Indiana.
Tape the area around the calipers to the best of your ability. Spray down with some coats. Once cured drive for a little bit and your pads will take the paint right off with some moderate braking. The paint will also come right off the rotors with some braking.

I know the paint will come off the rotors. I wasnt sure about the back of the pads. But i dont want it to look sloppy. The hub part of the rotor im not sure the paint will come off there. Its already painted silver on our cars. Which reminds me. That part is already showing rust spots.

I bleed mine before and after track. For street driving, I say I'd bleed it every oil change/3k miles.

emo kids...bleeding seriuoslly only took us like 15mins for all four of them for the Exige.
It's 15 minutes if Yuki does his power pedal technique.

Its one thing to simply bleed lines and something else if you break into the lines and have some serious air that has to come out.
If you're going to do it right, pull the calipers and clean the snot out of them so you can get the paint to stick. If you have any crud or fluid in a nook, the paint isn't going to stick. You'll be happier in the long run that you did. Gives you an excuse to full drain & clean the lines before the start of a new season.
Love the idea of the white on the calipers with the white body and black trim. No shades of grey for you.
