Dan, if i were you...

Noble

Done.

Buddy of mine has a Noble M12-GTO-3R. I have driven it once, crazy fast. Not as fast as the Ariel Atom, but for an enclosed car it is ridiculously quick. I am thinking it has over 400 hp and weighs something similar to the Lotus Elise.

wow, he drove that thing to Louisville??

Apparently he did. There were bugs on the windshield and bumper. I know he wasn't registered to be on display there. He just showed up in the F40 and they parked him with the other cars....and rightfully so. The F40 was a big hit.

When I first saw the F40, I thought Jas had made the trip from Lexington, but I was talking to a friend of Jas's at the Concours, who coincidentally also has an F40, and he said between Jas just having a baby and another Porsche event he was at with the Carrera GT, Jas just couldn't make the Louisville one. He hoped to next year though.

This was kind of cheating, but I am going to post it here anyway

I spotted a Ferrari F40 yesterday with Indiana plates, the owner drove it to Churchill Downs for the Louisville Concours. It was such a nice car, they asked him to park it in the field with the rest of the Ferraris. It wasn't entered to be there.

Anyone know this one? The guy drove it from wherever he came from, he didn't trailer it down here.

dunno why but thats a really good picture. i usually cannot stand trees/poles in the background but the orange makes it stand out enough that it's not annoying.

I agree, that is a great picture Andrew. It has a very strong composition, nice shot!

Nice shots! But I won't mention anything about the fact that you are using a Canon

I happen to like my Nikon very much, thanks

Saturday was the Concours event at Keeneland racetrack in Lexington, KY. Here are a few pics and the high res versions of these, as well as the rest of my pictures, are here:

It was really a great show and keeps getting better each year.

This new forum seems like the perfect spot for this:

The concours at the Keeneland horse racetrack in Lexington, KY is this coming Saturday. It is a pretty nice event with a scenic backdrop. There are usually some very nice cars there. Last year there was an F40, an F50, Challenge Stradale, a great burnt orange Gallardo Spider, A ferrari 275 GTB, etc. It is certainly worthy of a road trip.

Cadillac is the marque for the event, but there are always a bunch of old MGs, Packards, lots of Porsches, Corvettes, muscle cars and more.

BTW - THERE IS NO CAR FASTER THAN A FERRARI

Good to hear someone out there preaching the truth

Very amusing.

Thanks. I like these ones too although they don't show the whole car

Great pics Andrew! Looks like the Dayton meet had a nice turnout.

Also, there are really some nice pictures in this thread and some very good photographers around here.

I actually like that. I think they did a nice job.

I would actually really like to see another rear V-8 similar in size/style to the 355/348/328/308. While I like the 360 and 430, I think they are just to big and I like the grated engine cover better than the glass cover of the 360/430.
