The title of this thread is "A Little Bit of Wood"!

I can only tell you that I was staying on topic imo.
I apologize to the op and everyone else that has to filter through the gutter brained comments.

BTW - there used to be a woodpecker that liked to land on my old Camry and look at himself in the side mirror. What kind of damage would a bird like that do to this car?

Very intereting turn of thought... Would you have to worry more about squirrels nesting in it during winter storage? Would you have to oil it instead of waxing? Would it fall under Flora and Fauna on your home owners insurance?

Woodpeckers, indeed...

Nice!

Here's mine, before I start with the mods

Jeez it looks so innocent there. Like you can see Shane sneaking up (horror-flick style) with a wrench and an engine hoist...

I am no longer getting the wheels. The only issue w/ the wheels is some clear coat coming off one of the rears. The owner says"it just needs polish and recoat".
Unfortunatley w/ this model of BBS wheel once you strip the clear coat it never looks the same and won't match the other three.
I considered repainting all the wheels to match but don't want to spend the time. I will have to look at the Racing Hart wheels for a while.
On the plus side:
My brother's tuning biz in LA will start producing custom wheels for Japanese and Italian cars as soon as the end of summer 2008. I will have to wait for a set, but should be worth it.

Do I have to ask if there's going to be some custom offsets for the NSX's available from your brother???

how much does that conversion run?

And do the pieces come painted? There site isnt working properly to give that info.

People usually spend between 4 - 6K on the swap. The parts are around 3, the rest is paint, which is a nightmare on these cars... (aluminum)

I had mine out when there was still some snow on the ground...

I've been driving it to work every day this week, though. 8)

To top all:

I took the 900RR out for a spin monday night. It was cold. That's all I'm gonna say about that.

We also could have a Green/Yellow with Terry's Elise and Jasons Exige.

I'd be more than happy to do the pics.

I think it would be kinda cool to get some of your top notch pics of everyone's cars out on the trip. That banner with Dan and Rick's is sweet. It would be cool to have more in the same theme...

Thanks for the kudos guys!

Raza...yes, that's the original paint on the valvecover. If your valve cover is looking bad, powdercoating works wonders on them and lots of folks can do it for you in your choice of colors.

Well, the valve cover's are great shape, but I would like to maybe get them PC'd in silver or red. The previous owner of my NSX was a freak for detailing...

Are you insinuating that the Blue stinks? Sure it was the color or your release in it?

Can it be both?

Mark, your engine bay looks stellar! Is that the original paint on the valve cover?

Carla's car does indeed look super hot with the green body on black wheels. From the Murci's I've seen, I'd say they do look the best with the more outrageous/unconventional colors. But, I have to admit, I wasn't crazy about the light blue they were lining up with at the Detroit show.

I think they would have had a much better display with Yellow, Green, and Orange...
