This is the one that was on my wall when I was a kid. My father brought it home for me.

That and the Countach poster are such period pieces for so many of us.

Cool thread. Needs THE Farrah poster to go along with the Countach poster.

Dan...looks like you could get it for a discount. It is low miles.

I read elsewhere it was not totaled. Headed to Vegas for "extensive repairs".

We had a great time. This was the first time they did this at Conseco. Track was small and slick as ice. Throttle and car control were necessary to do well. The most adorable thing in the world was the kid class for the 5-7 year olds. Some of them were sliding the corners.

There were multiple classes that ran heats, then features. Pros weren't scheduled to do a heat, but they did it anyway. Tony Stewart took the win for the Pros. Tagliani for IndyCar took second. John Andretti took third. You have to remember that both Tony and John are former Indy drivers. The top 3 did some siping to their tires to gain traction between the heat and feature.

If they do this again next year, we will be there!

I thought to take earplugs. The faster karts get pretty loud inside Conseco. The one thing I didn't think about was the exhaust smoke. Especially the TaG class. It got pretty smokey in there toward the end. We smelled of exhaust when we got home.

Now I want a kart to go play with. I bet that would be a huge money pit worse than the Z!
