OK, now I see how they plumbed the turbo to intercooler to intake. I had forgotten about the twin IC's sitting up top. Like how the intakes cross one another.

Interesting how they vent the wastegate out the back via its own exhaust pipe.

Are the -AN fittings OEM?

Needs bigger turbos while they are at.

Side note: I never understood why Ferrari likes to put the oil filters on like they do. Instant mess waiting to happen when you have to change them out.

I can't seem to find a pic of the engine IN a 288 GTO. Curious how some of the plumbing is handled.

That was awfully nice of them, wasn't it?

Took the Z out on its longest drive since all the work.

First stop was IMS. We did a lap around the Speedway in a vintage pace car that was driven by Johnny Parsons, a former 500 driver.

Amazing how quiet the whole place was after just being there a couple of weeks ago for the 500.

We then stopped off at Edwards Drive-In on the southside. Upon leaving, the battery was dead, but the good folks at Edwards jumped the Z for us and we made it home with no other issues other than a sunburned head from having the t-tops out. Time for a new battery since this one has decided it will no longer hold a charge. Warranties are a wonderful thing.

So you think this Morris Minor should be renamed Morris MAJOR? I doubt it is still getting 35 mpg.

Now that was easy! I bet you could have cut your install time to 5 minutes if you hadn't stopped to take pics. LOL!

Its the Month of May so between that and the rain, its been hold up in the garage waiting for a clear day and for me to not be at the track. I also started a new job, so that's taking priority.

I assume he saw the writing on the wall. They brought him in to draw attention to the race, he did, they kinda wussed out.

...and driving more companies into bankruptcy. He bankrupted a casino! Who is dumb enough to do that?!?

I thought this was interesting, but the technique in the last line caused me to pause...

This morning, Trump reported saying he would not back down. Then in the afternoon he says he doesn't have time. Yea right. He was given the opportunity to walk.

I for one am very glad that he is not part of the Indy 500. He has nothing to do with racing or the auto industry. IMS has picked AJ Foyt to drive the pace car. Mush more fitting to honoring the history of the race.
