Supposedly the poster knew the guy doing it from college.

Looks like one hell of a project.

My biggest problem with it is that I don't know that I'd like my legs sandwiched between wooden upper and lower A arms.

In a discombobulated thought (yes, I have many of those)...there was a group of people I use to ski mountaineer with that became obsessed with lightweight gear. To laugh at them, I drilled out the handle of my toothbrush to make it lighter. Even used different sized bits as it tapered. Everyone got a good laugh at it.

Now back to our regularly scheduled thread...

The title of this thread is "A Little Bit of Wood"!

I can only tell you that I was staying on topic imo.
I apologize to the op and everyone else that has to filter through the gutter brained comments.

BTW - there used to be a woodpecker that liked to land on my old Camry and look at himself in the side mirror. What kind of damage would a bird like that do to this car?

I think I fixed the triple post. How does that happen? I got a message every time saying the post would not go through.

That happened to me earlier but I was able to spot it before CSZINK flags me. Wew!

Don't think about the damage but rather think of ways to prevent it. You just have to add rat poison to your car wash or detailer.

Very intereting turn of thought... Would you have to worry more about squirrels nesting in it during winter storage? Would you have to oil it instead of waxing? Would it fall under Flora and Fauna on your home owners insurance?

Woodpeckers, indeed...

I think it would fall under Log Cabin extensions.
