I'll give 4 stars to Hubler Acura on the South Side. I drive over an hour south just to avoid going to Ed Martin on 96th.

They hand wash the exterior, detail the interior and dust the engine whenever I give it over for service. (Even something as simple as an oil change!)

Also, they call and remind me when my services are do based on my recommended maintainance. Pretty cool considering my car's 17 years old.

Also, they give me whatever's the top of the line loaner for the day while they have it and also (as requested by me) do not drive the car off of their lot, even for mechanic test driving.

Those that are lucky their whole lives usually die young...

Ive heard the same from Mitch, we live 10 mins from Ed Martin, but refuse to go there. Ive been a few times, and havent been happy. They always move my seat AND stearing wheel even after I ask them not to, they go out on fun runs with it, and had the top tech question if I was trying to blow up my engine when I told her of a vibration at 5500 RPM......it goes to 8000 you dumb bitch!! VTEC doesnt even kick in till 5500 and peak HP is at 7100, she shut up then

Tom Wood Lexus

BIGGEST PILE OF CRAP SERVICE AVAILABLE

The lady in the front. The first time I went in, I was looking for the parts department. I went to her desk, literally with my arms on her desk and she just sits and files her nails and completely ignores me. Her attitude was the worst but the rest seem to follow suit, especially the sales people.

I guess when you have a monopoly, it really doesn't matter. I seriouslly hope Corporate Lexus will do something about it soon. The only reason I go there anymore is for parts and b/c my friend works there.

She probably forgot that Lexus is a Japanese car. Next time, ask her this..."Are you ignoring me because I is black of because me Japanese?" Just throw the race card next time.

Better yet, go dressed like you are from Toyota Corporate Japan. Nothing like the sound of an upset Japanese businessman speaking Japanese. LOL!

That will do the trick. I'd love to act like Yuki's personal assistant on this scheme.

I think that would throw me for such a loop that I wouldn't know what to say. I'd probably give you a WTF look, tell you to slow down, and send you on your way.

It would depend what car he was driving though. I agree if he was in the Diablo. In the pervert van though, he would probably get put in jail for being a sick, demented, and drugged up psychopath.

Hubler Chevrolet get a negative star rating for customer service to my Dad.
A piece of hood seal came loose up front (small piece to keep air from getting under the hood) of his new Z06. He ran down there to see if they could fix it for him while he bought a spare cf spoiler lip and front underneath air dam. The service manager said they did not have time to take care of it. That's it. No, "too busy can we schedule, etc..." it was just "we dont have the time to look at it" and went on with his business.

So, where in town is a good Chevy dealer who appreciates people who buy their new high end cars?

To all the Jaguar owners here, TOM WOOD SUCKS! If you need your cars to be serviced, I'd be more than willing to help for free rather than take your cars to TOM WOOD.

I got mine at Penske. I haven't had it in there for any type of service yet though. On corvetteforum, Penske and Estes both have a pretty good reputation for service, with Estes just edging out Penske.

Penske has done all the work on my z06. They have goofed up a couple of things but all in all pretty good. the thing I like the best is only 1-2 guys are allowed to drive the z cars. They do not take thme off the lot and the cars are kept inside at all times event ovenight.. Also if you are a Corvette Indy member you get 10% off on service... I will not do business with Estes for ethical reasons. Roger Penske will not allow them to sell cars over sticker, Estes hoses people.

I am 3rd on the list for a ZR1 car at Penske, and it will be sold at sticker.
Probably am not going to take the car though because I like the Z06 so much and
since I put down the deposit on the Zr1 I have bought the race car...

Went to Tom Wood Lexus today.

I could not figure out how to program the homelink.

Pulled in their service bay where they are supposed to have service guys come to our cars and greet and ask questions. I waited there standing by my car for
30seconds...no one...cool, maybe they're busy...
1minute...kinda getting irritated...
1.5minutes...still no one. As a matter fact, at this point, I have eye contact with a salesperson yet he proceeded to ignore me and keep on talking to his colleagues about golf (his gesture suggested it). I had to go inside, and go get someone I know and have him find me a service rep [shakes head]. I really would not be going there if it wasn't for him.

Again, biggest pile of crap service available. Oh, and my homelink/garage? They got it done in like 15minutes and my garage still doesn't open from my homelink (and no I do not have a rolling code).

=================================

Went to Tom Wood Volvo. The salesguy was really helpful and friendly. The people there seem less snobby and more down to earth.
