found these pics to show kinda what I think would be cool.
I have a 3 car and think it could be cool to add the center breezeway like in the pic to connect a new 3 or 4 car gaarge (in the pic the 2 car garage on the left, pretend the garages on the right is my 3 car garage)

or
I could make the breeze way a 3 car garage and the 2 car on the left to be included too

just comin up with ideas, what do you think

Would you have enough room for all that? I bet that addition would cost 100K.

I think that would be way too much for your neighborhood and the space you have to work with.

On 196th street, east of 37, north of Noblesville, someone is building a HUGE house. The house sits back off 196, with a stone bridge over a crick. The house will have a split 8 car garage, 4 stalls on each side, with a courtyard in the middle, much like your picture.

It would be sweet, if you have the bread to pay for it.

Unfortunately, additions are expensive. They wanted about $50g's to add on another bay to my garage and also raise the roof to create living space instead of the attic that's there now.

Somewhere around $100 per sq. foot is a good start for estimating. So if you add a 30' wide by 20' deep 3 car garage you're looking at $60,000 plus any extra's if you add storage/living space above, brick sides, insulated interior walls, etc. :-/

Your CC&R's generally restrict how close you can have a structure to the property line. You need to investigate that.

Better yet, cince you've pissed off your neighbors, you buy the house from your neighbors on the left, (they'd be happy to leave) convert it to a two story garage, ala Durham, and build a breezeway between houses.

Well another option would be an underground tunnel. I heard of one guy having one connection his garage to his home.

yes
I know w few people that wanted to add 1 or 2 bays on and it was like 17k-25k, so $100/sq ft is likely pretty accurate

looks like lifts or a big trailer may be the good way to go

or I can try and build it myself mostly....to code of coarse
