arent you still scared of the neighbors calling it in??
Doing donuts in a backyard of a very nice residental neighborhood is one thing - a quick burst down a lonely stretch of road is another. I'm sure someone on here knows of a local place where a little speed can be attained without being seen by the public. As for ORP, the only way I would do it would be if it was rented out to a private group. Last fall, the company that did the engine work on my vette had a private track day there and I thought about getting the Crown Vic and running it once.

0.385 280ZX 1978
0.30 300ZX 1983

Here's the thing.
The 280Z is 1975 - 1978
The 280ZX is 1979 - 1983
The 300ZX is 1984 - 1989

Last week:

Mercedes McLaren SLR (silver)....I saw him twice last week on I-69 near Castleton, and on 82nd street.

Wednesday:

Ferrari F430 Spider (red)....outside Champps with the top down. I am pretty sure it was the owner of Butler Toyota's car.

Dodge Viper RT/10 (yellow)....outside Champps with the top down.

Thursday:

Ferrari 360 Spider (black)....outside Scotty's Brewhouse. When he pulled away it sounded so very nice.

Spent a couple days in Pittsburgh this past week during the Vinage Grand Prix week. Had some great cars and events all over town. Here is part of what becomes the race track, one of the few in the world that are actually run on public streets. Walls are not very forgiving....

OMG! Who would have ever thought you could shoehorn that motor into such a small car? What does that do to weight distribution?

The all aluminum LS engine weighs just 40 pounds more that the cast iron 4 banger, and it is set back into the firewall just a tad, so balance is not that bad. You can definately steer it with the gas pedal. It still has the GM 6 speed overdrive hooked to it and 3.90 rear gears.

Red/tan Ferrari Testarossa on I-65 northbound at Southport today. Single high mirror and centerlock wheels says early model. I love seeing cars like that in normal traffic, breaks up the commute!
