This section is for boats too, but where are they?

I'll start. Friend's STV River Rocket

Another from Ohio, a 73 Sanger. This boat is in the current issue of Hot Boat Mag.

Palmer,
Certain year 355 Challenge cars did not have titles, thus no deal at the BMV. I know 1995 cars DID have titles, not sure if you car register that 96. But be sure to paint it before you're seen in it.
Indiana is pretty generous on registrations though, allowing assembled units with not much more that the police issuing a Vin, so maybe you car register your Ferrari as a kit car!

Hope they add them to the 500 in 2008.

That is a great idea. Pass it on to the Speedway office. Call Laura Thompson, she was in charge of organizing those cruises for F1.

VERY COOL.
The guy with the old BMW 535 at TD's went up there this summer and was telling me about that annual parade. Looks like a road trip someday. I challenge you to I'd all those cars. I got to the yellow Cheetah but it was loading too slow so I quit for now. How did you like the Bob Sharp Z?

Good suggestion, I've been playing with the Italian dictionary looking for the perfect plate, I'll remember that one.

We drove it to Seymour for parts and since I had a good parking spot took it to the Colts game. She did real well in all kinds of driving, except for a front tire going down on the way to Indy, so now I have one original 14" wheel on the LF.

Finally ready to let the cat out of the bag. Here is our 3rd 308, it's a 1977 GTB. Actually found it mid summer but the seller in California went into the hospital and we had to put the deal on hold. Rick even tried to bring it back with his Gallardo from Montery for me, but I could'nt get it up to his loading site, so we finished the summers drives in the Vette.

Looked real hard for a 76 or 77 GTB, and black was my preference. Makes for a small gene pool by being that specific, but was in no hurry. (prev 308s were red GTS's, a 79 and 85 QV)
The line of the B are in my opinion the best ever of the V8 Ferraris, and black shows the curves perfectly.
Details on this one:
Fiberglass euro style bumpers.
True dual Borla ss exhaust system. (The original exh and bumpers weigh a bunch, we're now 300+ lbs lighter than stock)
328 16" wheels and Pirelli 328 size tires. (Have stock ones too with XWX's)
Seats updated with 328 style pattern.
Fresh gear box, works perfectly with out the typical sticky 2nd gear.
Fresh black paint with Mack truck sized USA side marker lights removed.
Engine fresh with JE forged pistons, Total Seal piston rings, re-profiled camshafts, balanced internals, high perf fuel system, re curved ignition, new clutch assy, and, oh yeah, a Powerdyne Supercharger.

Hope you all like it and looking forward to spring! This winters projects are for new Bridgestones, detail the under carraige, play with carb jets and do some tuning for hard running, possible springs and bars for track day settings, etc...

Pics:
The long awaited transporter. Actually Kilne Racing from Ohio. They hauled their race team cars to Laguna Seca and to kill a week while waiting on the race team the driver hauled a few cars around. Ours was shacked up with a couple Germans in there.

Last pic and happy ending.
Got the Caddy all together Saturday, put Robin in the drivers seat to fire it up while I checked everything out, turned the key....nothing. Crap. She said, "Is it's theft deterant activated since you had the battery out?" Ah ha, nice to have a clear thinker around. Cycled the door locks with the key fob, turned the ignition switch, and vvrrooom!
100 miles shake down run and all is well, problem solved.

I also now believe the dealers earn every penny of their fee on doing these N* Cads.
