Its one thing to simply bleed lines and something else if you break into the lines and have some serious air that has to come out.

If you're going to do it right, pull the calipers and clean the snot out of them so you can get the paint to stick. If you have any crud or fluid in a nook, the paint isn't going to stick. You'll be happier in the long run that you did. Gives you an excuse to full drain & clean the lines before the start of a new season.

Love the idea of the white on the calipers with the white body and black trim. No shades of grey for you.

I suggest you schedule an appointment when it isn't a circus. You don't want them distracted from doing the job right the first time. For their opening, odds are they will be trying to process everything very quickly to keep the flow moving.

I got caught by that on a dyno day and paid a hefty price for a bonehead rushing the process.

I like the way the light plays off the carbon fiber. I can see why people are really using it more and more. That and the strength to weight ratio.

I like it. 'course you could always go apeshit with a 1/8 drill bit and perferate for weight reduction!

In a discombobulated thought (yes, I have many of those)...there was a group of people I use to ski mountaineer with that became obsessed with lightweight gear. To laugh at them, I drilled out the handle of my toothbrush to make it lighter. Even used different sized bits as it tapered. Everyone got a good laugh at it.

Now back to our regularly scheduled thread...

Don't know. This is a one off, not a kit, so a dyno with all the life support connections is needed to get to the edge. I have 8.3 JE forged pistons and Total Seal rings, so we have the right guts in place. A guy on FC (gasp!) Has a supercharged 308QV injected at 10 psi boost.

I think you're right on a wired tune for safety. How do you add an intercooler to a 308...where do you put the silly thing to reduce the air charge temp? Seems like anywhere in the rear isn't going to get good air flow/cooling.

I really need to learn more about superchargers. I keep trying to apply turbo tech to SC's and that just doesn't work well. And then you go and have a SC on a carb'd engine.

Also, the NSX (from what i hear...) has more grip/turn in when it comes to cornering.

Don't you remember the video of fourring taking a turn down in Brown County?

She probably forgot that Lexus is a Japanese car. Next time, ask her this..."Are you ignoring me because I is black of because me Japanese?" Just throw the race card next time.

Better yet, go dressed like you are from Toyota Corporate Japan. Nothing like the sound of an upset Japanese businessman speaking Japanese. LOL!

6 psi boost and a 2 stage fuel system kicking on the big pump at 1 psi. Not sure yet how much boost I can get by tweaking the pop-off valve before I have to change pulleys, but so far the 6 seems ok. And my current 10 psi on the fuel delivery works out good, 4 psi putting around on the stock pump then 1 added lb of delivery pressure for each added lb of boost.

...and you are still running rich. What're the possible boost scenarios you're looking at? What's max you can eek out with stock situation without detonation rearing its ugly head?
