The GT-R is running AWD and has a backseat = added weight. Still, as a production car, it kicks out some great numbers and for less money than its competition.

Dealer premiums are running $15-18k.
Tom Wood Nissan was alotted 5, has pre-sold 7. This was at least a month ago.

Dan...I thought you were running fuel injection? Computer is telling your engine what to do already. F1, IRL, pick a current model car, including your van...all computers.
I miss having to pump the gas pedal repeatedly on my first Olds just to get it started. Ahh those were the days...

Congrats on Japan for finally bringing out a great sportscar. The last good sports car was the Z or S2000. It's been about ten years (since I will not count the Rx8).
I hope Honda and Toyota sees this! Time to step up the game boys.

Justin, your exhaust sounds great.

Interesting to note:

Someone in a red 91 NSX with a heavily modified supsension and no engine, exhaust or intake mods raced a guy in an orange 91 NSX with 6 speed swap, headers, exhaust and intake on 37N the day after that video was shot.

From what I hear, the red NSX was only about 1 car length behind all the way to 150mph...
This story would not surprise me. Sometimes older cars that are in good condition have extra hp unlocked as they age. Suspension is a vital part of any car - just ask the NSX-R.

What does a TT weigh?

With the quattro it's like Jabba the Hutt on four wheels (3350 lbs)

A couple hwy pulls starting from 45mph. Both cars are right at 290 hp. This shows the diference between 4cyl turbo vs lightweight 6cyl NA.
The Audi pulls quickly at 45 mph but has a short power band with the APR turbo. The NSX was in 3rd gear from 2800rpm up to 8000. You can see big gains in the NSX when it hits 5000rpm. This vid shows the big differences in engine power despite the similar hp in the two types of cars.

I feel it's time to start helping our resident ricer by suggesting sweet mods for the Subaru.
Black RH wheels w/ black window tint - so sweet:

Hell no. I thought you hated the wingless look. It looks much better with it.
+1
Get the carbon fiber plate frame to match it.

BTW - would Italian rice be ricearoni?
