That corvette was a nut case. He could have easily taken the lotus guy out with him.

That makes me worry about track days.

It doesnt look like the lotus guy was giving up that turn. Or even knew the vette was going to try and pass.

Im going to have to show my cousin this vid. They pass a NSX.
Don't worry - the NSX guys are classy

Five minute vid of Lotus chasing a S2000. My favorite part is at 4:07 when the Vette comes from nowhere and overshoots the corner.

Thanks for the kudos guys!

Raza...yes, that's the original paint on the valvecover. If your valve cover is looking bad, powdercoating works wonders on them and lots of folks can do it for you in your choice of colors.

Fourringpilot...if you are wanting the deep black on the hoses like in the pics I posted, a good scrubbing to get clean, then that's the CD-2 Engine Detailer that makes them look so good. Some of the hoses on my engine have been replaced in the last 3 years...due to age. All vacuum lines were replaced too...again due to age and developing leaks.

TY for the tip. They now look great!

Do I have to ask if there's going to be some custom offsets for the NSX's available from your brother???
This line will be NSX specific. Currently he is focusing on Supra parts but all my begging is starting to pay off.
His shop will be using his neighbor's NSX and my NSX for fitment/testing of many oem conversion pieces. He has been gracious enough to sponsor my car. So far all I have recieved is the HID kit.
The wheel process will take about 1-2 years since testing is paramount to avoid losing cred like HRE did. Expect the wheels to go between $3000 - $5000 a set.

I was thinking Goodyears for my next set. You'd recomend KDW's ever them? I don't know anything about those at all.
I can assure that the bf goodrich kdw tires are indeed "the s**t",
They only run good above 40 degrees ambient temperature. I have tried to break the tires loose in a parking lot and can't do it. Please remember my wheels are 10inch in the back and 8.5 in the front so it is harder to break them loose..

I am no longer getting the wheels. The only issue w/ the wheels is some clear coat coming off one of the rears. The owner says"it just needs polish and recoat".
Unfortunatley w/ this model of BBS wheel once you strip the clear coat it never looks the same and won't match the other three.
I considered repainting all the wheels to match but don't want to spend the time. I will have to look at the Racing Hart wheels for a while.
On the plus side:
My brother's tuning biz in LA will start producing custom wheels for Japanese and Italian cars as soon as the end of summer 2008. I will have to wait for a set, but should be worth it.

I think NSX's look 20x better with pop-ups...

If i had an 02-05 i would do a 91-01 retrofit for the front...
Bickity Bam! That's what I'm talking about.
I hate the big bug eyes on some of the new cars. I like it on the lotus but it looks silly on the NSX in person. I know that is the trend, but the popups add so much character Otherwise the car looks like it is wearing grandpa's reading glasses.
