I am planning on adding two rear spats and a lower (more aggressive) diffuser. These parts add about 7-8lbs of total wieght, but I don't care since I have taken out nearly 150lbs of wieght since buying the car a couple years ago. The two pics of the rear are stock and then with the sides spats and diffuser. I was using duct tape to hold al the pieces on and edited it out with photoshop - so if the paint looks like it does not match in spots.
Please let me know your thoughts before I start drilling holes in the car. I think the back end sat too high with stock valence. I like the lower look that is similar to newer sportcars.

I like it. Even though Dan says my opinions don't count because my car has leaf springs for now.

The diffuser will work once on. It's a copy of the NSX-R.
Why would you pass on the spats?
The spats have sat in my garage for nearly a year. I think they even out the lowered stance, otherwise the diffuser sits really low in the middle and the sides of the car sit very high.

+1 difuser
-1 spats

But, then I'd do the '05 rear and leave it that if it were mine... maybe add the diffuser to that.

2002 rear valance and recent with the NSX-R diffuser (CF).
I went with the OEM 02 rear and exact replica of the NSX-R diffuser as I think in my opinion the West Wing spats and the Kite NSX-R "like" diffuser don't look nearly as good as the real thing. They look like a body kit add on.

Thanks guys...

4Ring, I know that the OEM 02, plus paint, install and NSX-R diffuser (now reduced from $700 to $250 on Prime) will run close to a grand. But in my opinion completes the car so much nicer. The one thing I didn't like about my 2000 was that with the whole center section looking black it made it look like a big whole in the middle.

Plus, I like the mesh so much better than the slats of the early valence.

Just my $.02

No doubt. When did the price drop? Last I saw only DF had this setup and it was way to high $ for what you got. Who is selling at such a low price?
